Mercedes-Benz: Launch of Electric and Limited Edition Models Mercedes-Benz made a series of moves at this exhibition, attracting a great deal of attention. It launched the pure electric eArocs 400 model for the first time, a move that marks a significant progress of Daimler Trucks in the process of electrifying the chassis. The eArocs 400 is specifically designed to meet the needs of the construction industry. It is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2026, with an annual production of 150 vehicles, targeting the markets of 30 countries in the European Union. This model is available in two versions with weights of 32 tons and 41 tons, and it adopts an 8x4 chassis configuration, making it suitable for concrete mixer trucks or dump trucks. Thanks to its zero-emission advantage, it can legally drive in low-emission zones and noise-sensitive areas, and it is especially suitable for night construction scenarios. Not only does its power performance match that of the traditional Arocs, but it also has a continuous power of 380 kilowatts and a peak performance of 450 kilowatts. The electric motor is equipped with a 3-speed transmission, providing strong power for construction transportation. The first batch of vehicles is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2026.

At the same time, Mercedes-Benz also brought the latest model in the Arocs series truck family, the Arocs Extent limited edition truck. As the first limited edition truck in the Arocs family, it represents Mercedes-Benz's top strength in the field of construction engineering trucks. It is reported that the first batch of Arocs Extent limited edition trucks will go into production in July 2025, with a global limit of 100 units.

During the exhibition, Mercedes-Benz also reached a global strategic cooperation agreement with Zoomlion. A number of construction machinery products modified based on the Mercedes-Benz Arocs series chassis, such as the Arocs 6553 12×4 concrete pump truck, the Arocs 4751 10×4 concrete pump truck, and the Arocs 2543 6x4 concrete pump truck, made a stunning appearance. These products fully demonstrate the excellent performance and wide adaptability of the Arocs series chassis, and also indicate that the two parties will further explore the markets of special-purpose chassis such as concrete pump trucks, mixer trucks, and fire trucks on a global scale.

MAN: A Full Bloom of Traditional and Electric Products MAN Commercial Vehicles also shined brightly at the exhibition, showcasing its rich and diverse road transportation solutions carefully crafted for the construction industry. In terms of traditional power, MAN's D2862 V12 engine has attracted much attention. This engine embodies MAN's decades of expertise in powertrain research and development. It is designed to meet the special application requirements of heavy-duty construction machinery and mining vehicles, and is suitable for a variety of scenarios such as water-based operations, outdoor construction, and railway engineering vehicles. In the face of severe load changes and harsh working environments, its full load rate of up to 90% demonstrates its powerful performance and durability in the engineering field.

In terms of electrified products, the pure electric truck chassis eTGX and eTGS with high industry adaptability cover a load range of 20 to 28 tons. They are equipped with modularly combinable batteries and offer different power options such as 333 horsepower, 449 horsepower, and 544 horsepower, precisely matching the diverse requirements of body solutions in the construction field. The vehicles have up to 9 different wheelbase options and 6 cab variants to meet the needs of different working scenarios. Even the chassis with a wheelbase of 3.75 meters can be equipped with a battery of up to 400 kWh, providing a range of approximately 500 kilometers to meet the daily transportation needs of construction sites. The pure electric three-axle crane dump truck built on the eTGS chassis on the exhibition stand has a power of 449 horsepower. It is equipped with the Meiller Trigenius D316 three-way tipping device and the Palfinger crane. Its modular battery concept ensures the stable operation of the vehicle, making it safer and more reliable to operate in complex working conditions.

In addition, MAN also showcased the 18-ton TGM 4x4 model with a power of 320 horsepower, which is equipped with the Ressenig three-way tipping device. The single tire design on its rear axle gives it excellent maneuverability and flexibility both on unpaved roads and highways. The narrow and short CC cab provides drivers with a comfortable and compact working space.

Scania showcased a series of innovative and sustainable power solutions for the construction machinery industry, mining and other industrial sectors, covering pure electric, hybrid and gas solutions. It also announced a collaboration with the Italian company Cometto to launch a pure electric self-propelled modular trailer (SPMT), fully assisting the construction machinery industry and the mining industry in their transformation towards a low-carbon future.

Volvo: Launches a Large Pure Electric Concrete Boom Pump Truck Volvo has launched a large pure electric concrete boom pump truck. This pure electric concrete pump truck with zero exhaust emissions has a boom reach of up to 42 meters and will be delivered to the Swedish construction company Swerock.

At the exhibition site, XCMG launched the first fully electric pump truck of Schwing Stetter Germany that achieves zero-emission operation, as well as the Ultra Eco pure electric mixer truck jointly developed with XCMG. The new energy products exhibited by XCMG this time have established an ecological system of the new energy industry chain. At the same time, XCMG officially announced a series of localization measures in Europe, including the opening of the European Training Center, the establishment of an Italian subsidiary, the unveiling of the European financial leasing company, and the acceleration of the construction of the German spare parts center.
